This is an energizing, physical meditation that opens breathing, body, and inner energies, followed by witnessing and dancing. It lasts for one hour and has five stages. It can be done alone, but it is also a very powerful and helpful experience to do it as a group. When doing this meditation in a group, the meditation remains an individual experience. Keeping the eyes closed, one remains oblivious of other participants around. Using a blindfold can be helpful to keep your attention focused inward. It is best to have an empty stomach and wear loose comfortable clothing.

In the first 10 minutes there is rapid chaotic breathing; then the second 10 minutes everyone is allowed to express out loud their tears, sadness, anger, frustrations; the third stage is using a Sufi based tradition of jumping up and down with arms raised saying a mantra Hoo -Hoo; then for 15 minutes we are all very still in silence and then for 15 minutes we have free form dance celebration.

This meditation technique has been scientifically designed by Osho. It is best to be done in its complete form, with nothing shortened or omitted. It has traditionally been done in the morning. But it can be done anytime you can fit it into your schedule. We present this meditation weekly as it has been for us extremely helpful and  transformational!

Though the meditation lasts one hour, we first meet each other and then give the instructions about the 5 stages of the meditation and afterwards there is time for Q & A and a cup of tea!

Payments: Due to Covid-19,  the World of Meditation (WOM) can no longer depend on many of the ways money used to come in to support the Center. Our challenge is that we still have all the ongoing costs to maintain the Center. So we appreciate whatever financial support you are able to give, realizing that Covid-19 has produced financial issues for us all.

We have suggested prices for the meditations, workshops and events.

Single Meditation – $15  Single Meditation. (If you already have a pass, we will mark off one participation for each event. See below for pass information.)

We also offer a 10 meditation pass for $80, a savings of $70 from the suggested $15 for each event. And, if you attend more than 10 meditations within a 30-day period (we offer at least 7 events a week), the pass converts to an unlimited pass during that 30-day period!
